My first post

Hello, My name is Brock Davis and I go to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. First let me tell you a little about myself. I am twenty three years old and a junior here at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I got my Associate’s Degree before transferring to Whitewater. I want to get my Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and Game Development. I lived in Muscatine, Iowa throughout my childhood and when I received my . I have Cerebral Palsy, a non progressive condition that affects my physical ability, not my mental ability. I got my Cerebral Palsy when I was born as was born three months premature and I only weighed two pounds and two ounces. I have an involuntary left arm that I nicknamed Lefty. Original isn’t it?! Lefty is a whole different person to me because I cannot control it and it does whatever it wants. So I would recommend to you not to walk by my left arm, if you do not want to get hit by Lefty. Other then that, I am completely normal as far as my family goes, I have one sibling, a sister, a dog and a cat.
I have lived a normal as a person in a wheelchair could as well as some interesting things in my life to say the least. I went to seven times Poland when I was twelve to fourteen to do intensive physical therapy. This therapy was six hours a day and six days a week. Along with that, I had homework when we went in November. We would usually go in November and June.
My interests and hobbies are playing video games, watching sports, especially the Saint Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeyes, and going to events to socialize on campus. I was actually named after a famous Saint Louis Cardinal shortstop, Lou Brock because I was three months premature and my parents hadn’t thought of a name yet so my dad named me Brock because I was fast out the shoot like he was stealing bases. Some other fun facts about me are that I have been driving an electric wheelchair since I was three and am a very skilled driver so do not fret if I go by your feet closely. I am a very skilled one handed video game player and I play the PlayStation three.
As for my social media consumption, I use Facebook, Twitter and I have just started using Foursquare more recently. I use Facebook more frequently than I do Twitter. I use Facebook to keep in touch and tell friends and family how I am doing while I’m here away from home. For Twitter usage, I mostly use that to keep up on what’s currently happening around the Twitter universe. As for Foursquare, I use it mostly to compete with friends and for fun. I have an Instagram account but do not use it much because it is hard for me to take pictures one handed. You can find me on Facebook at Brock Davis or on Twitter at brolol and if you want to try me in video games add me on PSN brolol07.
